Processing technologies and systems
Study of technologies and processing systems defining the life cycle of products from conception to production and eventual recycling. The group studies: transformation processes at macro and micro levels made up of traditional and innovative materials, ranging from fabrication to joints, assemblies, controls, disposal and recycling; the mechanical, technological and structural characterisation of transformed materials and the link between their properties and the parameters governing the processes; methods and tools for developing products such as additive manufacturing, also with a view to reducing costs and times.
