Agreements and collaborations

The University and the Departments enter into agreements and conventions with public bodies and national and international private entities in order to boost educational and scientific activities, encourage recruitment and promote technology transfer.

Departmental activities and contracts within the University Framework Agreements:

  •  Framework agreement between UNIBO and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) for the “Implementation of joint research, advanced training, improvement of the ability to attract resources and investments from third parties, creation of partnerships, technology dissemination and transfer in the space and aerospace sectors”.
  • Agreement between UNIBO and the National Research Council (CNR) to “Maintain and develop forms of cooperation for the conduct of research programmes, training and related activities. Foster cooperation in the protection and promotion of research results, the development of technology transfer initiatives and the promotion of research, cultural dissemination projects, entrepreneurship training and the launch of innovative start-ups".
  • The Department organises collaborative activities on the topic “Electrochemical energy storage systems”.
  • UNIBO-ENAV agreement "To set out the terms and conditions of a formal framework for cooperation between the Parties for the purposes of increasing operational, safety, environmental and financial performance to meet airspace users and other Airport Transport shareholders' expectations".
  • UNIBO-FEV ITALIA s.r.l. framework agreement for collaboration on activities of common interest "in the field of design, development, calibration, simulation, benchmarking and testing of vehicles, parts and propulsion systems for the world's leading car manufacturers". The Department carries out activities on “Solutions and technologies for increasing the efficiency of hybrid engines, development of predictive control strategies for the behaviour of their components and analysis of solutions for driver assistance systems”
  • UNIBO-Magneti Marelli framework agreement for cooperation on activities of common interest in the automotive sector. The Department carries out “Development and testing of functional solutions for innovative engines”.
  • UNIBO-Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. framework agreement for cooperation on activities of common interest regarding "the production and sale of luxury cars in order to expand and strengthen the cooperation between the Parties in the field of research and innovation". The Department carries out activities on "Mathematical modelling of electric hybrid vehicles, analysis of their innovative technologies and optimisation of mathematical models management".   
  • UNIBO-ENI framework agreement for cooperation on activities of common interest and is one of the university's strategic actions to strengthen collaboration with companies, as well as serving as a legal framework for subsequent Application Contracts leading to Work Orders to formalise and initiate specific research. The Department performs research and development involving "Comparative testing of sump caisson water flow meters" and on the topic of "Specialist technical support for radiation protection".
