Uniboat

UniBoAT (University of Bologna Argonauts Team) is an educational project, a the team of students coming from various academic fields with the final goal of building a high-efficiency and clean-energy catamaran, that competes at the the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge by the Yacht Club De Monaco. Up until now, the boat has won three consecutive editions: 2021, 2022 and 2023 in the Energy Class. Along to that, different tittles were awarded to the team for example the Design Innovation Award 2021 at Salone Nautico Internazionale in Genova or the FIV Prize (Special Environment Prize) by the committee XI Zona FIV.

The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge (MEBC) is an international competition in which universities and companies from the nautical world take place to support the research and development of sustainable technologies, favoring the transition to electric propulsion.

UniBoAT opens paths in the automotive and business sectors for undergraduates, graduates and doctorate committed students. Dedicating one year to the project, allows them to work in close contact with the other members of its divisions and companies that supports the project through techs or sponsorship. The team members, that navigated with us, now work for first class companies at the regional and national level.

Not only this, but the experience in the project itself, forms valuable experiences and friends that are carried out through years.
