Quality of research and teaching

Single Annual Report Card for Departmental Research - SUA-RD

The Quality Assurance management system consists of four related processes: planning, management, self-assessment, improvement.

Research Quality

The approach established by the Quality Board is characterised by the introduction of quality principles at a departmental level: transparency, information sharing, verification of results with indicators or documentary evidence. The Committee facilitates self-assessment by offering support to the departments so that they can define improvement objectives according to their own specificities and in line with the objectives of the University Strategic Plan.

Single Annual Departmental Research Report (SUA-RD)

The Annual Departmental Research Report Card (SUA-RD) collects information on research and the department and society, and is elaborated by the department. During the annual review meeting, the department analyses qualitative and quantitative information on the department's objectives, organisation, quality policies, research groups, department and society initiatives and public engagement. The SUA-RD is also used for the annual verification of research results for periodic evaluation and accreditation conducted by ANVUR.

The SUA-RD continuous improvement cycle

Teaching Quality

The quality of teaching is the ability to respond adequately to the expectations of all those who have an interest in the educational service offered: students, families and the working world.
In concrete terms, at the University level, but also at the Department level, this means setting up objectives, tools, actions and checks to implement a quality policy to constantly improve the programme.
