Modelling, control and testing of internal combustion engines and hybrid propulsion systems

Research is oriented towards the development of models for controlling propulsion systems based on internal combustion engines and hybrids to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Engine test benches, rapid prototyping systems and In-the-Loop software and hardware (SiL and HiL) systems are available for the implementation of innovative control solutions.
