Model-based control of components and machines in energy systems

The research focuses on the development of control systems for increasing the efficiency and reducing the polluting emissions of energy systems. The main objective is the optimisation of energy flows, from the optimal use of synthetic and renewable fuels to the implementation of control systems based on physical models, with the help of adaptive techniques, machine learning and data mining.
