(1) Nano-structured composite materials with high resistance to delamination, controlled damping and self-sensing and self-healing properties; (2) design and structural optimisation of long- and short-fibre composite components; (3) experimental static and dynamic characterisation of composite structures; (4) design of electrospinning machines for the production of nanostructured materials; (5) kinetic-elastic-dynamic simulations to design components for automatic machines and robots; (6) functional glass ceramic coatings for metal substrates.
