The group's research focuses on the manufacture, maintenance and repair of aerospace structures. The main competencies concern modelling, simulation and testing of advanced polymer composites and light alloys. Over the years, the group has acquired extensive experience in structural health monitoring, additive manufacturing techniques and laser applications for improving material performance.
